It's definitely one of those love it or hate in meads
It was my 1st ever mead so the taste took me by surprise. I had it like 2011 when I 1st got into craft and international beers.

I find myself liking more stouts, and less porters as time goes on.
Yeah I’ve always preferred stouts to porters. They are my 2nd favorite type of beers(Belgian tripels/dubbels are my favorites). The only problem is as it’s like rolling the dice with my stomach as I’ve gotten older.
