Of course I know who they're sourcing, that's my point. Your first post was talking about "it's just a guy on Youtube" as if he's some Z-tier internet personality and the story has no legs. It's getting covered everywhere on the 'net. And the "BvS" things is apples and oranges because "I heard the movie is a mess" =/= "I heard the movie has no star". One is a quality issue which is subjective, one is the movie is dead in the water.

Not to mention Drew McWeeny ended up being right, and WB not responding to that ended up speaking volumes about the finished product. That alone is reason enough to address this head on.

Addressing the rumor (if it's not true) would only add credibility to it. I mean, Ben just released a statement a few weeks ago talking up his love for the project going forward. To release yet another statement so soon about Ben would only fuel the rumor. Give it a week and let it pass, or better yet, put out a trailer for Justice League with a cool Batman set piece and redirect their attention towards that.

They didn't address the rumors "BvS" sucked, how did that turn out for them?

That's what I don't get. We already went through this with something that turned out to be true....they ignored it....and it did absolutely nothing to help them. Addressing this, rumor or not, cannot hurt them at this point.

Here's the problem, so the Studio comes out and says "Everything is fine blah blah blah". What happens if Ben ended up leaving after that statement? WB would be in bigger trouble then they're already are. The same if they said "No, our movie is going to be great, don't believe the rumors" then dropped BvS. Why would any believe WB again? That's why you don't address them and let the movies do the talking for you because that's all anyone is going to judge it by. If WW and JL come out they're great then all the rumors go away.

I personally think there is some truth in it. Affleck has been acting suspect the WHOLE time. He honestly seems like he doesn't want to be in the clusterfukk that is the DCEU.

batman beyond was the natural progression after the nolan films. it would have been heat rocks. instead they tried to make a emo superman cool which failed and they turned superman 2 into batman featuring superman and friends: the movie

i was watching this stan lee biography one night... he said he created his superheroes because everyone else's had no real weaknesses

that way people can relate because they are just regular people who fall into being heros.. but still have major issues with themselves and flaws and shyt just going wrong in their normal lives


when you think about it, every marvel origin movie, them dudes had serious problems and shyt... ironman was a dikk, still can't even handle his girl and make her happy... thor was a dikk, got banished and brother don't like him and dad didn't like him either.... cap was a wimp... strange was over the top with his narcissism... ant man was a damn crook. etc etc


then you got superman who can do anything unless you find a lost piece of rock... and batman who is a billionaire human with every gadget who can also beat up superman if need be... i don't know much about wonder woman but she fine as fukk, a princess, got a magic shield, whip, sword and invisible jet

like they have no character flaws.... and the public has a hard time relating to them because of it..

Rumor or not, once they said he was questioning the script, the writing was on the wall. Mofo, you were co-writing it. Then, when he dropped out of directing, it was a wrap. His passion is with directing these days. They shouldn't have created this movie out of nowhere, and stuck to the plan. I don't think Ben wanted to do it in the first place. We've seen this with WB time and time again, since they've tried to do the whole cinematic universe thing.

But this is WB. They've had these characters for decades and managed to turn out great animated movies with the same characters. Supes is the ultimate boy-scout, love him hate him for the same reason. Bats is OCD, sociopath, PTSD...Wonder Woman is the feminist movement CEO. They can fit them into modern times, like the animateds used to.

You know all those links are sourcing Campea from Collider? That's my point, they're all quoting a guy who's never broken a scoop in his life and is known for pushing BS rumors. If they didn't address Drew McWeeny saying he heard BvS was a "mess" last year then they never will. What they shield have done IMHO

Man of Steel 2- should have had Brianic and could have been some epic T2/Matrix level shyt.

A year later a new Batman solo flick with him ( and a better casted Luthor instead of Eisenberg) Bruce could have crossed paths with Lex on deals and shyt to clean up Metropolis only to find out dude was dirty. You could have slid Supes in there too with Lex after Kryptonite.

Then a WW flick in like 2017....then Aquaman, Flash and then Justice League in like 2018/2019.

These nikkas panicked when Avengers dropped. I mean gotdamn the TV shows don't even exist in the same universe... Arrow....Flash it's all a mess.....shyt I don't watch Agents of Shield but I heard it's all in the Marvel Universe..at least with DD, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage etc it's tied together.....just imagine if Marvel owned X-Men and FF....we would be living in piff city. We would get 4 movies a year.

And for God's sake stop insulting the fans and make the TV and movies exist in the same universe...it's fukking terrible.
