Democrats operate across a spectrum just as republicans do. Democrats agree on most things. Same with Republicans. You can be mad, but the question you should ask is when laying criticism is how does their vote relate to them representing their individual constituents as opposed to asking with regard to the party as a whole.Ive seen the argument on here about how there is too much blame on the Democrats and not enough blame given to Republicans when folks are expressing outrage about things of this nature.
We expect Republicans to be shytheads. They market themselves on doing shyt like this and make it publically known they believe deregulation is what leads to prosperity. Their voters by and large believe the same nonsense. Their voters are getting what they want out of their representatives when they do this shyt.
Democrats on the other hand has a constituency that DOES NOT like shyt like this and many Democrats market themselves on the surface as being against stuff like this but vote otherwise. It's why people may feel a bit more pissed off when you have a Northam who runs partially on Healthcare to win but then basically says fukk Medicaid expansion once in office .
It's expected out of Republicans and personally I dont plan on voting republican anytime soon. It's more a betrayal and frustrating that the opposition is on the same side of what their voters are generally against. Democratic voters expect democrats to work on behalf of their interest. Not just be republicans with a D next to their name and it leads to a sense of betrayal .
Just figure I address that before anyone comes in whining about people being mean to Democrats .
Who is the constituency for banking deregulation besides banks? How is that representative of the majority of constituents in say west virginia? I mean if im wrong I'm open to being educated but otherwise my guess its just another example of crony capitalism that benefits no one but a small minority at the expense of the vast majority.Democrats operate across a spectrum just as republicans do. It is what it is.
States with small banks have plenty of people who support relaxing these regulations. Same for regional and community banks. WV didn't lead to the mortgage crisis.Who is thr constituency for banking deregulation besides banks? How is that representative of thr majority of constituents in say west virginia? Plenty really? Where are they? Is there anything besides a bank lobby voicing this? I've never heard a Democrat outside the banking industry say they are for deregulation besides a politician.States with small banks have plenty of people who support relaxing these regulations.
