I see it as films and comic book movies. You can take away the bat ears and notion of super-villains and TDK is still the same movie. You can't take away what makes them the Avengers and have the same result.

All of the damn Twilight films have made a combined 2.5 billion and they are hot piles of shyt. So the money arguement isn't appliable all the time.

maybe

maybe not.

TYRONE GA!
*shrugs* it is my nig.

Art > Money.

20 Years from now we'll be talking about how classic TDK was.

Agreed, but I do think Nolan's Batman World doesn't allow many of Batman's other villains to exist.

That's why I love Avengers more as a "comic" book movie than Nolan's Batman.

but TDK alone is a great film even if it wasn't based on a comic. that makes it special all on its own.

He wanted a real world appeal to it, so that limited who and what he could put in the films.

:wtf:

You made a post that had literally nothing to do with the quality of either movie

"TDK" doesn't perform as well....
"Performance" has nothing to do with the quality of the movies either...nor does the thread title + thesis.

So fukk is you saying?
