Since when do the best films make the most money? The movies that win Oscars usually do double wood at the box office.

What makes dark knight so good is that it had box office success record breaking at the time and should have been nominated for an Oscar critically it was up there.

Nah people are gonna show up because it's the sequel to the most acclaimed comic book movie of all time, and Christopher Nolan is a proven draw himself, as Inception did real well for a movie that wasn't a sequel or based off of a comic book.
