But the problem is, as I've said a hundred times, Rock wasn't seen as black by fans. If anything his Samoan hertiage was trumped over his fathers african descent/heritage, which was never really mentioned
He was by me. As a youngster I always liked the Rock and saw him as being black.

Even though I believe Rock embraces both sides his Samoan heritage has been pushed more than his black side.

My point is, majority of ppl didnt even know the RockS dad was black until they were told so.

And if you didnt start watching until '98, you'd never know Rock was half black b/c it was never mentioned much after that on WWE TV. He was the "grandson of high chief Peter Maivia", his cousins were Yokozuna/Rikishi etc, then he got the Samoan tatts...

Because how the hell are you equating a criminal gimmick and a 'shuck and jive' gimmicks with fukking hillbilly and cowboy gimmicks? How are those two in anyway equal? At all? You're like one of those people that think being called a cracker is on the same level as being call the n word.

Like mrken12 said, every argument you're using on here is the same argument white people bring up in any race related issue like it evens the scales when they don't.

lets not fight, friend

no no, normal as in see both sides of the situation
nah you just dont get it... the article isnt saying just push anyone because they are a minority and dont push white wrestlers...its pointing out that those people almost NEVER get a shot to be anything more than a novelty act and they definitely NEVER get a chance to be champion....the article isnt saying Xavier Woods should be WWE WHC... its saying guys like Mark Henry, or Booker T should have gotten that chance. Lots of guys over the years could have gotten the ball, but they never let it happen.

I didnt read every post so I cant speak on anything else said.
