Mariah Cooper chart.
If your birth time Is correct, you have an ascendant that is literally on the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces to the very minute degree. It does appear to lean towards Aquarius so that’ll be your rising. It does mean, however, that Pisces is an intercepted sign in your first house. The Moon & Saturn are both in Pisces in your 1st house and that means that the energy from those planetary bodies may be somewhat buried and difficult to access - this is not a given though. There’s a very wide conjunction between the two also.
Moon in Pisces is a particularly consuming placement emotionally, and indicates that you have a highly intuitive emotional understanding, and that it’s something that is easily noticeable in your persona. This may be a little bit tempered with Saturn involved in the picture, giving you a layer of steel over what would normally be an emotionally vulnerable temperament. Saturn hardens whatever it touches and adds harsh lessons where it’s placed. You may be seen by others often as the responsible one and it can create issues for you when it comes to putting your needs first. Learning to detach is probably a great skill of yours that comes in handy, particularly when it comes to being too aware of the emotions of others in lieu of your own. If there is any guilt that you feel when tending to your own needs, you should question it, and allow yourself occasionally to not have to be so serious.
With Cancer being on the cusp of the 5th and 6th house, the Moon also interestingly has a hand in the affairs surrounding those houses – particularly creativity, children, love/romance, sex (in the case of the 5th house) and work, daily routine and health (in the case of the 6th). How I imagine it playing out is that your emotional health and overall persona is directly tied to your love life, your view of children and your work life & overall health. With Cancer on the cusp of both your 5th and 6th house, that indicates that your relationships will have a profound effect on your outlook on life, and will come to define your image to a certain degree, depending on how you process these things emotionally. I would also put forward that, in lieu of the 6th house, your health issues will also be a sticking point, and paying attention to your physical appearance will possibly play a huge part in how healthy you are. With Cancer playing a huge part, you’ll be highly sentimental about your love life, family and animals. Your emotions will affect your health if you’re not careful. You’ll also be very maternal overall and have a great love of people, although you may be particularly shy.
To move onto some of your other aspects, I notice a Venus sextile Mars in your chart, which is interesting. With Mars in the 2nd house in Aries, and a Venus in Gemini (3rd house), it would seem that there is relative ease in dealing with the opposite sex and you may actually be very good-looking or otherwise attractive to the opposite sex in some way – and this is fine for you, as you’re someone that could need more of a sexual outlet than some others, although that is speculation. Your placements in this case is an intriguing mix of strong stamina and a need for explosive, physical activity and challenges combined with an expressive, playful and multidynamic way of communicating. This indicates that you’d like to be with someone who can match you in those areas and provides enough friction and changes of scenery to keep you satiated – which could prove difficult. There’s also a mischievous side that might show itself occasionally!
Saturn also plays a part here, as does your Moon – because both planetary bodies square your Venus, which brings its own set of problems. The Moon-Venus square is pretty wide so it won’t have a huge effect, but Venus-Saturn is a tight square. As said above, Saturn brings hard lessons so there is a positive to this aspect. What may happen is you will find obstacles and blockages where matters of romance and possibly even your own physical appearance will cause problems. You may actually see yourself as unattractive when you’re feeling low, and that may affect your emotional health and your physical health too. What you want to caution against doing is selling yourself short and ending up in a relationship that is dutiful in nature yet not fulfilling. It’s also possible that you’re more sensitive to rejection than others. In this area, gaining perspective and being able to objectively observe your emotions will serve to help you not take things too seriously.
Regarding the rest of your chart, you have a Taurus Sun in your 2nd house, which is a pretty natural place for a Taurus Sun to be as Taurus is the usual natural ruler of the 2nd house. In the case of your chart, it is actually Aries that rules the house, but Taurus will still be significant. What it suggests is that you’ll essentially embody Taurean principles (patience, love of art and senses, food etc) but you’ll likely do so in a very Arian way (forceful, forthright, forward etc). You might be a tad materialistic, and with Mars in 2nd, possibly a bit possessive about people, but the Aries influence will imbue some individualistic merits and you may be less likely to lean on people as much. The Sun makes a pretty wide opposition to Jupiter which is in Scorpio and inhabiting your 8th house.
Jupiter’s interesting position indicates a strange comfort in things that most people would find uncomfortable or very taboo. For someone with the strength of emotions that you have, this is an extraordinary placement which will endow you with incredible fortitude, adventure and an almost unlimited amount of emotional resources just when you need it. It suggests that faith will be a strong point for you (wherever that faith may lie) and you have a strong passion and intuition for the hidden aspects of life. Your emotions will serve as a lucky guide and you’re certainly not someone for shallow people – in fact you may actually be turned off by such. Your ability to heal emotionally will bring you fortune.
It will be a tough balancing act with your Sun in opposition. With a Taurus Sun infused with Arian undertones, you could be a pretty stubborn person who blindly trusts your intuition in spite of others. On the positive side, it could bring much optimism at good times and nobody could accuse you of aiming low in life. Your sense of optimism may need to be tempered with some foresight, and with a Scorpio Jupiter, you will probably find more fortune than empty aspirations.
Pluto is also in Scorpio, albeit in the 9th house where it is not as powerful. Pluto doesn’t appear to any significant aspects so it’s not a big factor in your chart, however it shares similarities with your Jupiter in 8th placement in that it ties the dark elements of life with your philosophical disposition and possibly your faith (could be religion of some kind of spirituality). It could indicate a strong interest in psychology and knowledge in general being seen as a powerful weapon. You’ll have a great capacity for learning and you could translate that into academia – which I’ll get to in a moment as there’s a last placement that indicates that. There could be some event in your life which may force you to rethink your stance on spirituality but that is a tad unlikely.
Mercury in Taurus (3rd house) is a good placement for someone who likes to talk. With your Venus in 3rd, this further enhances your verbal expressiveness. While you’re likely to marinade on your thoughts deeply rather than have tons of them going through your head at the same time, you will also tend to speak quite deliberately and matter-of-factly – you tend to get to the meat and potatoes of what you’re trying to say rather than play with the stew on your plate. In the 3rd house, this adds some level of Gemini to the proceedings in that while you talk and think more measured than a Gemini will, you will also inherit their curiosity, love of communicating and learning, plus you may also have more interests and passions in general. Teaching or otherwise sharing knowledge will be especially important to you. Once again, you will certainly have an aesthetically pleasing voice, either speaking or singing, and people will enjoy listening to you talk.
Mercury here makes 2 trines, to Neptune and Uranus, both in your 11th house. These two in this house will make you extremely passionate about people in general. You’ll have a strong social conscience. With Neptune, you will have great imagination and ideas on how to better improve relations with others, and you could have a strong humanitarian streak. With Cancer being strong in your chart, you’ll have a very pronounced empathy for others and will have a pretty extensive social circle, particularly with Uranus here. You will have an unconventional assortment of friends and a vastly extended circle, of which there will be completely oscillating types of people. A caution here with Neptune: try to strengthen your boundaries otherwise people will take advantage of your kind nature and you may be none the wiser. Your highly adaptable nature will be appealing to many. Uranus will give you some more individualistic traits that will prevent you from being too ensconced in the ideas of others. In a way, this will help you to erect the boundaries needed to protect yourself, so you can fit in without sacrificing your independent thinking.
The actual aspects they make to Mercury endow you with an incredible mental capacity for imagination, writing and having revolutionary ways of thinking. You’ll have a penchant for thinking far outside the box when it comes to academia and creativity. You may be drawn to things that others will discard and find true beauty in it, whether it’s a piece of music or simply a concept within your vast interests. You’ll find it easy to not be as judgemental as others and likely be incredibly resourceful mentally, and this will be incredibly useful when it comes to being within groups. I think that teaching would be a good career option for you as you will easily attract people to listen to you and not only become fascinated with your ideas but you will also energize them to develop their own. Your honesty and lack of prejudice will serve you well when it comes to inspiring others.
Sagittarius is in your midheaven and rules your 10th house, so teaching and education is definitely indicated as it gives you challenges and a wish to learn more as time goes on. You may be drawn to lecturing in higher education if you decide to take up teaching – it will enable you to have more independence and give you more room to try other things and satisfy your urge to gain other interests. This accompanies your rising sign, which is Aquarius. Your capacity for emotional strength as shown in your chart is somewhat masked by your independent streak and your penchant for being a bit different to others. You likely aren’t easily shocked by most things and combined with your general lack of judgement for others; you will likely be seen as a confidant in tough times for your friends. There is a stubborn streak that will show itself in matters of image and material endeavours, but you’re likely to be an open individual that most people will enjoy having around, and listening to.
