we already know Inception ripped Paprika for a lot of stuff, but the other stuff you posted :ohhh:
apparently aronovfsky bought the rights to the anime right before he dropped black swan. i know anime steals fight scenes from live action, but they dont be jacking compositions and cinematography

Nah, it's a bit different. Aronofsky loves Perfect Blue and used the bath tub scene you posted in Requiem For A Dream. But he wanted to pay proper credit, so he went out of his way to buy the rights to Perfect Blue even though he didn't have to. He then eventually got around to making Black Swan, which was pretty much Aronofsky's take on the anime that heavily influenced him. Unlike Nolan, who has kept pretending he didn't flat out jack shyt, Aronofsky's been very open about his inspirations.

The OG comic book style is still tops IMO, Japan's artist still emulates it to this day. Bruce Tim is one of my all time favorite artist and art directors.

@Majestyx @Liu Kang this nikka Caleb Wood :ohhh:

Nice and psychedelic as hell :lolbron:

You ever saw the Summer Wars anime ? I think you may like the refined drawing style though the animation is mixed changing from 3D to drawing depending on the universe.

By the way, what do you think of Legend of Korra, animation wise ? I'm really surprised at how well animated fights are : dynamic, fluid and punchy. The fights in season 4 sometimes blow my mind lol. Is this all USA in your opinion ?
