I've learned my lesson with EA. UFC has to be the worst sports game franchise I've ever played... I just copped a few days ago and they have thee worst control system for a sports game. EA need to really bring back the Fight Night & NBA Live series b/c Madden & UFC just ain't it. At all...

The thing is with UFC, while I don't mind the series much, it could need some improvements though the only way for that to happened is to have an competitor. With NBA Live however, even if lets say Live 22 is huge improvement from 19 and an worthy competitor to 2K22, if EA doesn't see a lot of money from ultimate team, then expect less funding for future titles.

What is interesting is EA brought back PGA Tour sometime after the Tiger Wood/PGA 2k announcement and NCAA Football is coming back (however it is an exclusive), so we might finally see more sports titles this generation.

I kind of envy people who can live off one or two games and be happy. Like, people that only play fortnite, CoD, Forza, Fifa etc. Gaming is relatively a super cheap hobby for you and you probably get more entertainment out of it then i do waiting for and playing big releases for a week. Not only that but your favorite game in the world releases a new version of itself every year or constantly gives you updates. If you love GAAS you are eternally eatin.

I could only imagine how great it would feel to get a new bloodborne or spiderman every year.

I don't understand people who feel the need to play every new release. People will literally stop playing a game to play the next big thing out. I will probably be playing Monster Hunter Rise until Diablo 2 Resurrected comes out. I may play a few other games this year but most of my time will be between those two.

I just have a short ass attention span. But I usually finish one game before moving onto the next just because i hate constantly re-programming my brain from game to game. Like, it’s hard for me to leave Ratchet and Clank and go and play Nioh 2.

If I don’t finish a game before playing another one I won’t finish it or i will have to come back to it way later so I usually make it a point to not jump around games. There’s also FOMO, I hate being the last one to experience a game I’ve been looking forward to

EA just would be better off imo investing they're resources in Live than in UFC. THQ had a better game in 2010 when they were still around than the entire UFC series combined. At this point, I would rather see EA work on a new basketball/boxing title and let 2K develop a football franchise.

Well good news for you because NFL 2K is coming back either this year or next year, however, it will be arcade base like Madden as oppose of simulation base due to EA have the exclusive right on simulation base football until 2025.

Are you a mostly single player type of games person? That could play into part of it.

I don’t think I’ve played a multiplayer or co-op game in years outside of fall guys.
Thats prolly why then. Its hard to keep replaying single player games, usually replays are years apart. Multiplayer game communities encourage sticking with the title to compete with friends/enemies. Your original post listed fifa, cod, fortnite, so i see why you constantly jumping solo games.
