I got back into emulators recently, got my hands on the ps2 version of Timesplitters 2 This game still holds up after all these years, the gunplay and the controls are great, I'm playing w/ an xbox controller on PC and it translates 100%. Looks amazing in full screen 16:9

But holy fukk, this game is retarded on hard mode they don't make em like this no more at all lmao, no checkpoints and no health restocks except for one body armor plate literally 100+ enemies and the AI is actually better than most games out rn, and on top of all that there's a fukking boss fight w/ a cotdamn attack chopper and you get flanked by soldiers throughout the fight who are pin-point accurate. Might have to fukk around with normal mode for a minute

All that being said though the game mechanics are rock solid and hold up to this day, was honestly expecting it to feel outdated but it actually doesn't PS2 got such a great catalogue, sold mine to a friend years and years ago... I'm bout to eat
