So which ones released (on time) in the US? I beat FF1-3, then I remember missing 7, playing 10 and hating the wheel. Hating the direction of the series. Then after the creator left to form mistwaker I tuned out of Final fantasy. What else do I need to play besides 7?

My gut tells me @DPresidential knows...

7,8, and 9 are my favorites.

Definitely cop FF7 asap and play that classic!
I agree that X was too much of a change in direction. It's a decent game, but I didn't like the progression wheel, or the characters in the game.
Honestly, the last "modern" RPG that I really enjoyed was Persona 5 and before that it was Blue Dragon. Everything else in between didn't click with me enough to warrant a shout out.
But yeah, FF7 is about as classic as it gets. Just straight RPG with an incredible cast and great story.
FF7 is out on XBOX right now. I'm not sure about 9 and X but I know if they aren't out they're coming very soon.
FF9 is different from FF7 but it remains true to the core experience. None of those goofy wheel menus. The story isn't as good as FF7 though (to me).

I really like how Hitman 2 lets you play all the Hitman 1 missions without having to load the game...

Such ridiculously good games...both should have gotten GOTY consideration if they didn't...

Been playing The Division 2 and Final Fantasy IX on Switch almost non-stop for the past week.
Need to get back to finishing RDR2 (I'm on the final chapter).

Think I’m officially over video games

I try to play 2K19, but end up turning the system off cause I get too bored with it.

Haven’t played madden since November

Last game I bought was PUBG on Christmas & I was excited about it..but I’ve only played it 8 or 9 times since & don’t have the desire to play.

Only game I can sit and play is NASCAR HEAT 2, but it’s so outdated compared to Heat 3 I just threw it to the bushes


When I was younger I would play NCAA 03-10 all fukkin day & stay up till 4am editing rosters before you could go online & had to manually do it.

Maybe I need a PS2 to play the old NCAA games but I don’t even get remotely excited about new games anymore

I'm realizing that I'm burnt out on sports games. I haven't bought Madden since 17, haven't bought WWE since 2k17 and I bought 2k19 but I'm falling back on that too.

Haven't played a Tropico since 2...Bought Tropico 6 and started playing sandbox...don't understand any of the mechanics and so I end up losing the game in like 30 minutes every time

I was just playing cities skylines on playstation... and I was doing well...my city looked nice... although I was loosing a grip on money cause the citizens hate taxes... So I built my huge city, and people start getting sick. I fix the water lines, hook electricity up, then they start getting worse, I take out some industrial areas, fix the sewer lines with a new sewage spillway after sewage backed up. then they start getting sick and dying I'm like... wtf I did everything right and y'all dying in your highrises man!!! there was a tweet saying there's poison in the pipes don't drink the tapwater...I'm like... You ungrateful b*stards!!!!

Another thing you have to be careful of is "death waves"...were you build residential to fast...those people age and die at the same time...so then they don't pay taxes cause they are dead...then your industry goes belly up because their is no one to work them...then your commercial goes belly up cause their is nobody to shop at the stores and nobody to work at the industry who supplies the goods...so no taxes from residents who died no taxes from industries who can't find workers no taxes from commercials who can't get goods to sell from industry...

If you use Education Boost this is all but guaranteed to happen the very first life cycle of sims after you use it...old sims die and young adult sims prefer college over jobs so damn near ALL your industry and commercial dies and your taxes get destroyed...
