anyone here ever buy high, sell again at the break even point and then wait for a dip to buy again?

Bought another 100 at 53 and hoping to it dips again like today

Also to give a bit more context.

A lot of the buying over the last day or so was institutions buying shares in order make sure they had enough to fill in the money options contracts. Or what they call a “gamma squeeze” As the price goes down they then sell those shares cause they might not need them anymore so you get a reversal of the gamma squeeze which is part of what we saw today.

There’s lots of talk of multiple lenders disallowing short positions going forward and overall sentiment by short sellers is they might be fukked

Lots of ITM contracts for tomorrow. No more shorts. No more dilution. Positive fundamental news. We should be up big tomorrow.

I doubt it’s a margin call but they sense the danger. If anybody knows about the synthetic shares it has to be them

They probably got a lot of failure to deliver events with those shares or maybe they had to issue some margin call warnings before the margin requirements were satisfied.:manny:

I hope I can buy the dip at open tomorrow.
What actually constitutes day trading? if you buy or sell too much in one day? Do you have to wait a week or a few days before you buy after a trade or something? :patrice:

How can you time that perfectly every time, and those taxes are going eat you from washes...and if you don’t have the proper amount of money in your account they’re going to lock it if more than 5 times in a trading week

So when the margin call goes out how long does it take for the price to blowuptuate?

Like I’m thinking of all the ppl under me with way bigger bags who will jump out and relieve that hold pressure. The only way I see that getting minimized is if the price gets up quickly...as fast as you can think snd blink it’s in the 10k, 50k, 100k range... so how long does it take like is it a day or weekly process for hedge funds to liquidate when they get margin called? Longer?

Day trading is when you buy and sell the same stock in the same day
If you don’t want to day trade the stock just don’t sell it on the same day
