Agreed.

I think it's just a number to them...almost a psychological barrier they're setting up. They don't realize that we won't sell at $70, $100 etc.

It's possible they "might" believe that if the price gets into the $70-ish range that FOMO takes over and then things might get out of hand.
They have admitted they've gone on to look at message boards and reddit. They know damn well people are not selling at 70-100

They know for a fact if they start covering they are fukked worse than any one in the market is getting fukked. People post on there everyday they ain't selling till 500k (now it's 700k) with thousands of upvotes.

People are not fukking selling at 100, 200, or 500
It's 10k at the very least.

Citadel and Melvin and everyone else shorting knows it's the end of their business the day they get margin called. So they're gonna operate like this until they get someone to save them or they get margin called

I'm telling you...I predict some type of settlement arrangement that limits how much we make from this. I still believe we can come away with millions, but there's regular folks out here that would become billionaires if they let this go.

I just can't see that happening.

Just did the math: if I had went all in on AMC when this thread was created, I would be up over $72k.:wow:
I came in the game late (58)...but I came heavy. Before yesterday I've lost almost 6 bands so far...:wow:

***edit***

Nice little run-up in the pre-market this morning...we might have a pretty decent day today.

That destroys the market. It's no longer a free market if they limit the amount of money you can make. No retail investor will have faith in the market after this. Unless they want to remove near 30% of all investors (retail) they shouldn't do that

So something just crossed my mind..

You think these fukkers are gonna try to hold out to see if the white house changes presidents? You know damn well any republican that would take office will bail them out in a heart beat.. and line theor pockets at the same time. :patrice:

Can these hedge funds hold out that long?

Lets say for example.. they hold out to 2024.. and keep kicking the can down the road.. never paying any interest thats accumulating.. and getting bailed out?

Somebody please tell me that aint possible.
no that's way too much money to lose they might as well let the squeeze happen
you're talking about spending 1-2 billion dollars a day for 4 years

Does it destroy the market, or does it just make apparent what everyone knows but ignore? That the game is rigged.

Doesn't that essentially ruin it. We all know it is, but if there is no illusion there's literally no reason to play.

If they boldly state "we just do what we want"

It's over. No more money to steal from "suckers"

Personally I think the market is done no matter what after this.

Economy is probably going to shyt. And most retail who get rich off this should never look at stocks again. Real estate, yes. But fukk the market after this. After seeing how rigged it is I don't think I'll ever want to put my money in this again.

IMHO the move to make after this is buying land. Real estate, absolutely...but I just have a feeling this country is in for massive population movement over the next decade and the more land you own...especially in the midwest...the richer generations of your family will be.

I'm taking a large amount of money I make from AMC and purchasing land all across the midwest.
