Then why hasn’t/wasn’t GME been margin called or the SEC done anything after GME was trading at $500 a share, and there was so much scrutiny after some brokerage firms halted trading on it that literally special congressional sub committees and hearings have been held? They also shorted Tesla for well over a year. Again, I get being optimistic. I’m one of the most optimistic brehs on here. I hope this shyt moons today. However, there’s a difference between being optimistic and being obstinately idyllic about what “potentially” could happen. Some of you are already damn near 7 months deep in this. This potentially could go on for more than a year. There’s precedence of it happening. Given that context, we need to vote no. No more new shares until we get what it is ours and justice is meted out.
There were congressional hearings, yes, which is one reason that it won’t continue into 2022. Those hearings weren’t about naked shorting, though, focused instead on what led to brokerages halting trades. In spite of what happened in January, hedge funds have refused to cover, which is why talk of a massive squeeze and unimaginable price action has now drawn the attention of the press and ginned up FOMO among the public. The mood now is much different than the one several months ago. The pot is boiling and the water is about to spill over.

They'll let it ride a little today. Probably high 50s to low 60s. Tomorrow, the hedgies will come out full force to keep it under $60.

Let's remember that last week we were focused on making sure this stays above $40 for June 18th.

Sure $60+ would be better but don't let the FUD/MSM etc., make us think that $59 tomorrow is bad.....goal post moving can make you think things are bad even when they aren't.

Above $40 was the goal and we should be above that. Lotta people getting paid tomorrow so it's gonna be a war.

I know I said i’d vote yes, yesterday, but I think I’ve been persuaded otherwise.

I do think more cash equals a healthier company, equals more confident buyers, meaning more diamond hands.

But I do understand the potential for Fud in a dozen articles if the vote is yes.

At this point I’m gonna go with avoiding FUD at all costs so, I’m think I’m gonna vote no. Gonna give it a couple weeks to see where we are at first.

What about them other questions?

I don't know who the hell those board members are. I voted abstain. I voted no on the last question though.

5. To approve the adjournment of the Annual Meeting to a later date or dates, if necessary or appropriate, to solicit additional proxies if there are insufficient votes to adopt the proposals ("Proposal 5").

Also if you have AMC on multiple accounts make you sure vote multiple times for each account. I have a personal brokerage account and a roth ira both on Vanguard. I used some of my roth ira to buy additional AMC shares. I get to vote twice. One for each account.
