I’ll check. I’m guessing, since it’s an American company traded on Nasdaq, the SEC has the authority to do so.Never heard of this. Where is this listed as a regulation, and how does this work with international actors?
All of you guys that's holding this stock in Cashapp, I suggest yall make that phone call to them ASAP.
Yall are asking an very important question imo.
I'm sure that app has its limits.
This won’t happen. It would crush faith in the market by the American public, trigger a wholesale retreat by foreign investors, and cause a violent uprising that would make Occupy Wall Street a quaint memory.Hedge fund managers complaining on CNBC looking for help from the fed ..they want the fed to change the rules of the game now..I think feds will limit how much profit you can make depending how long you held the stock..wealthy ppl always changing the rules when it benefit the majority..AMC and GME about to change The world

Hedge Funds can cry, but no one is coming to save them.
The feds secretly want them gone so they can install new rules to prevent this naked short nightmare from happening again. Until they get liquidated they still have cloutHedge fund managers complaining on CNBC looking for help from the fed ..they want the fed to change the rules of the game now..I think feds will limit how much profit you can make depending how long you held the stock..wealthy ppl always changing the rules when it benefit the majority..AMC and GME about to change The world
u think they care about the american public?
I honestly want to understand why some of you guys think AMC is going to reach Berkshire Hathaway levels
It can go as high as retail wants it to, since they own an unprecedented amount of the float and hedge finds have to purchase millions of shares from them or go out of business. The fundamentals, which are why you and others are confused. are not relevant.I honestly want to understand why some of you guys think AMC is going to reach Berkshire Hathaway levels
They don't......but they DO care about that tax revenue.
Retail investors are going to pay hella taxes on AMC/GME money. Hedge funds wouldn't have owed a dime if AMC/GME went bankrupt.
Government doesn't really care about Wall St or Main St.....they just want easy money. Usually Wall St. provides the easy money and perks but 3 million+ people paying on all that AMC/GME cash is too good to pass up.
The regulations will come after this.
Does anyone know how much money can be stored on cashapp from stock? Let’s say it hits 10,15, or 100k per share. Does that money go straight into cash app balance?
You shouldn’t hope it drops to the low 40s. If it remains on the trajectory its currently on, it will trigger a domino effect that leads to the short squeeze.I sold off most of my other positions, ready to pick up some more AMC. Already copped 5 more GME this morning.
AMC should drop to the low 40s (I hope) later this week. I'll buy on the dip
Good point, although I wasn't hoping it would, I just thought it was inevitable. I ended up picking up 85 more shares @ 56.50You shouldn’t hope it drops to the low 40s. If it remains on the trajectory its currently on, it will trigger a domino effect that leads to the short squeeze.
