Are you invested in AMC? If not, then, why are you here? I don’t understand what motivates people like you to come into this thread and harass brehs trying to come up.Parents use to take their kids to Blockbuster

The same logic is in play as any short squeeze, when shorts are forced to close positions they have to buy at market. And when the market manipulation is stopped the forced HF bids will have to buy every ask on the exchange automatically. And redditors make sure to set 1, 5 and 20 million dollar per share sell limits every day. This theory was tested in January, some guy managed to sell a fractional share for 2k the day they halted buying.I’m a believer, but pls explain this figure?
I came here for the come up as well, I don’t care about AMC as a company y’all getting y’all panties in a bunchAre you invested in AMC? If not, then, why are you here? I don’t understand what motivates people like you to come into this thread and harass brehs trying to come up.
Yes they are ppl been missing theaters crazy during the pandemicGen Z kids are not goin to be going to movie theatres
who said anything about their earnings? I’m talking about future prospective, they not part of the future
I don’t get why people can’t understand thisAMC could be a hot dog company. The outlook of its business model is not relevant to the short squeeze. If anything, a negative outlook is what prompted hedge funds to dig the hole they’re in.

That's actually a great point.
The hedge funds took a short position because they felt AMC was on its last legs and so they bet against it.
If they were optimistic about AMC, they'd take a long position with the hopes things would rebound.
Frankly GME seemed to be worse off than AMC considering GameStop was struggling before COVID.

Alright I'm inviting the negs on myself but this needs to go out.
Skip to 14:24 but the whole thing is really eye opening from 7:27 onward.
-AA is reducing the votes necessary to conduct business from a majority to 1/3
So after retail investors denied the 500 mil dilution in the shareholder vote, AMC postponed the shareholder meeting and is changing the rules
Not on punk ass robinhood you cant.I had tried to set a crazy high sell limit before and my platform rejected it saying it was too high. Not sure if you can at other places but I know I couldn’t set at a million.
Bump. It happened last month, filing date is in May.More FUD bump the thread when this actually happens
