Those streaming services aren’t always gon break it off with the movies theatres they’re goin to find ways around that in the future

idk what the last sentence was for :mjlol: that was some goofy female shyt there

Because you're not making any fukking sense, only one talking goofy female shyt is you

AMC has their own streaming service with customers and you can even rent the entire theater out , you don't even research any of these companies

Streaming will never replace going to theather

marvel and star wars just broke box office records right before the pandemic, you don't live in reality

I got in 5 dollars a share I ain't even saying how many shares I go

I'm not in it for the future of AMC that shyt not relevant to me getting rich

goofy ass nikka, if stocks were reflective of a companies earnings Tesla would be worth less than AMC, because they don't even make profit of any of those cars Musk is rich of government contracts, but the stock price made him the richest man in the world on paper

you have no idea how the stock market works

Avengers and Star Wars broke box office records, who think saw these movies

people with kids still take their family to the theater

Godzilla did 300 million on a friday during a pandemic with limited theaters, you don't have any factual data to back up anything saying

just because you don't go to the theater don't mean other people don't

the movie studios are not giving up the money they get from the box office the streaming does not compare, that's just extending the life on the investment

also it has nothing to do with my people are buying the stock or way the price is going up

you're clueless, get program

we only care about the squeeze we don't give a fukk about the future of the movie business

but they do have a future because the share holders brought the company by buying all the shares, helping AMC raise over a billion in the first quarter of the year, the most the company has ever raised in one quarter in it's 100 years history

so the future is bright for AMC, they can restructure company any to whatever it needs to be to survive in the future because they have the money

AMC was around before VCRs and Blockbuster, its a 100 year old company

nobody can replace the movie the theater, DVDs put blockbuster out of business, streaming wasn't even a thing yet for movies when blockbuster went out of business

AMC has it's own streaming service and app, people rent out the theaters to watch boxing, play videogames, or to have the theater to themselves

AMC made a billion dollars in the first quarter of this year, the most in his company history, you don't have in facts to support what you saying, just give up already, you don't know what you're talking about and don't even care enough to do research on the matters, why are even spoken on something you won't even take the time to learn about

Anxiety attacks and sugar cookies
nikkas in here acting like people don't want the movie experience over watching shyt at home :bryan:. Nah breh, some movies you almost have to see in theaters for the full experience, I'm one of those people that need that. Like a quiet place for ex, the audio and screen size just ramps up the tension of that movie that my puny ass 43 inch can't give me at all

How/why did DVDs put Blockbuster out of business? Piracy?

How/why did DVDs put Blockbuster out of business? Piracy?

Because they put redbox in grocery stores and every else, and they didn't have rental fees, Netflix started as a DVD rental service in 1998

When DVDs became the standard, movies were available to buy a lot quicker than they use to be after being released from the thirty, and of course bootlegging DVDs was a huge thing back in the beginning it was the first time you get a bootleg in HD, there was no point in renting movies anymore

also a big revenue for blockbuster were videogames

in the ps3 era games became longer and longer, and took more time to beat, and online gaming came to consoles in an actually playable way for the first time, so that was probably a bigger hit than anything because nobody rented games anymore

even still it blockbuster didn't file for bankruptcy until 2010, so it took a long time for it to die, it wasn't just streaming is here blockbuster is gone, they had already been dying a slow death for a decade prior
