I don't have a problem with that. But you've said everything you had to say. We get it by now.

Ironically folks in here could have had some supercar if they took their initial profits and shorted this continously. Once it hit 70 and never got close again the writing was on the wall.

Idk why anyone would want a bugatti tho aint those shyts like 2 mill at the lowest :picard:

In all fairness only a few were delusional enough to clamor for those prices. My expectation was always 10k gme, 1k amc. Which is still possible off of shorts alone. Only a small minority was in fantasy land.

@Silky Johnson kind of lazy to expect someone to post fundamentals. All that matters is that a once struggling company with little wiggle room has been able to refi their debt, kick payments out further, 25% cheaper and twice the amount requested. When creditors are easing the conditions of repayment what more do you need? Concerts and sporting events, acquisition of several high profile theaters, retail popcorn. And they are cash positive moving forward.
They started last year trying to avoid bankruptcy, that's off the table now and there is zero need to add additional shares. Literally a Marvel/DC movie a year can keep them afloat.

They have the equivalent of an 850 credit score, which is all that is needed in business, Wal-Mart has debt, Toyota, and many of your other fortune 500 companies has debt. It's a normal occurrence. Hollywood keep the movies coming there is no looking back.

@pawdalaw It's far from lazy to ask somebody to back up their theory with tangible evidence. The lazy part is giving an opinion about the overall industry and speculating when asked about the fundamental analysis of one specific company.

If what you say about AMC is fact and not fiction, show your work. I'm asking to show me what you see on their balance sheet from the last 4 quarters that supports your investment thesis.

What is the difference between top line revenue pre pandemic vs now? How much of that billion dollar box office that Spiderman puts up goes to specifically to AMC's bottom line? How have popcorn sales and other revenue grown over the last 4 quarters compared to the previous 4 quarters before the pandemic? What does AMC's numbers look like compared to Cinemark?

These are fundamental questions about core AMC's business that any serious long term investor should be able to answer before buying shares of a company.

Fair enough, I named those things off the top of my head. Anyone who has had an eye on GME/AMC knows that they were shorted relentlessly with the attempt to bankrupt. GME has long ago climbed out of that hole but are still being shorted abusively.

AMC had their first cash positive qtr that just ended, each qtr previous was better than the preceding one. Although the future and balance sheet for each company has improved. The amount of which they are being shorted and covered/ closed has not diminished.
Some people love amc/ gme as a long term investment. Many are here for the squeeze. I am one of those, I rarely do movies and never patronized gamestop. But I'm happy to have witnessed them being rescued. Will most likely not invest in the market at all when this is over.

*it's also noteworthy to add that GME has been held up as the Holy Grailof being a company with great fundamentals. Yet they are down 75% from their ATH just like AMC is. Not very many people in this thread invested for fundamentals. We saw the opportunity for a come up and took it. One company has been stellar, the other still trying to gain its footing. But both have been shorted down an equal amount. Fundamentals don't matter once the thread of chap. 11 is gone.

Explain? They are being touted as the next Amazon. There is no shortage of "elitist" on any platform.

by whom and for what. How can GME as it is now possible evolve into the next amazon. Did you see amazon most recent earnings report :mjlol:
