The government is more to blame, for letting these jobs go overseas these past several decades. If the shyt Amazon sold was made in the US, this would be way less of an issue.

I agree with this. China took up the slack when they saw America moving away from manufacturing. Can you blame them? :yeshrug:

It's a free market, yes you can tax and impose tariffs on foreign made goods, but you can only subsidize domestic manufacturing so much before consumers start footing the bill. How much are corporations are willing to slash record setting profits? And how much are consumers willing to pay more to offset the loss of cheap labor?

It's the reality of globalization.

I don't see what more the government can do , they gave them tax breaks , told them & gave them the opportunity to bring back hoarded cash from overseas . Allowed them to gobble up all the competition. I say that corporate greed is an issue & the government removed all worker protections. All while corporate higher ups are swimming in cadh while cars prices & everything else is becoming unaffordable
