This is just 30 seconds of a 60 second trailer though. Hopefully the last 30 are as good as the first. And I do think Gwen bites it in this movie or at least she won't be in great shape by the end of it

Anyway, Shocker's characterization fluctuates, sometimes he's soft and comic relief other times he's dangerous and deadly. All depends on the writer. He's always been a thug for hire though who's not the brightest. My favorite version of Shocker is actually in Spectacular Spider-Man, the cartoon that was on before ultimate spider man. LOVED that version of shocker, check it out if you haven't seen it
I think it'll be an underworld boss actually. Miles Warren does exist in this world though but I don't think its him
