Couple quick thoughts on 1 listen.

Spitta is tailor made for these Yacht Rock projects. I’m surprised he’s not on either. He needs to be on part 3.

Although the two tracks with Benny, Camino, Conway, and WSG are arguably the best two tracks (and arguably one of Conway’s best verses in a long time) I was a bit letdown that none of them wrote their raps to the yacht music/luxury/higher living theme of the conceit projects. Benny and Camino made a couple ocean/fish references, but that’s it. Benny w tried

Ironically Conway went with a semi-deep verse on here. Fire verse but odd choice. This legit sounds like it may as well just be a Hall & Nash 2 joint. It’s even called Eastside which is the only track on the album without an aquatic theme.

Everyone but Griselda mostly stayed on topic here. I’m not complaining I just find it interesting

Eastside easily the best track on this

Relating to that recent thread about longer songs vs shorter songs, this was a quick fire ass cohesive album that left me wanting more and wishing it was longer. This was probably less than 30 minutes of pure luxurious feet kicked up on a yacht wearing a Dwyane Wade outfit surrounded by women in expensive bikinis music.

This album is so luxurious

I’m annoyed that this album came out at the end of the summer because Alchemist killed this with the production. The sample choices are so on point.

On my third listen, my favourite songs are:
Boat Shoes
Harry O
Ocean Prime
Sand Castles

Roc Marci’s in his bag on Harry O. This man’s verses are so luxurious sounding that I have to laugh. This nikka said “Cracked the safe, punch the code in the keypad, Lemon squeezed over seabass, I seen it through the submarine glass” and made it sound so damn fly

Almost tagged you. Yeah bitcat the same time it’s weird because they’re the main two that didn’t stick with the theme of the project.

You like Boat Shoes too? I’m not even into Gangrene but thought they did pretty good.

This shyt is tough.
The standout joints for me are Ocean Prime ( Boldy was cruising on that shyt.), then Harry O, Sand Castles and Eastside.
