Folks are saying malaria. Though I thought you had to get your immunizations before leaving the country Either way it's a sad situation.

Some spiritualist folks also speculate that maybe there was some kind of karma involved in the situation or even foul play since it happened after the initiation but I don't know about all that.

Nah, never did any work like that to be honest I've only made sacrifices for protection and had cleansing work done due to ebos that came up in readings but that's a good question man. I would like to hear what others have to say because I was thinking of doing some work myself to create new opportunities in career and also for prosperity but I know to work with the orishas you have to be initiated and receive them so I will have to look into doing things another way.

Hoodoo would be best way to describe it I guess, since I use Ifa and Santeria teachings. I'm not yet initiated. I have an altar to Elegua since I am his child.

Have you had it deduced by a Babalawo or Olorisha that this is true?? Furthermore, do you know how extremely dangerous it is to do works without having been initiated or properly trained by an elder???
