Namibia might fukk around and get on this recent S African Excellence wave too.

Namibia to Ready Black-Ownership Law by Year-End, President Says

Namibia will table laws to better distribute wealth among its citizens, most of whom are black, by the end of the year, despite resistance from businesses.

The government of the southwest African nation that’s among the world’s most economically unequal is in the final leg of consultations on the National Equitable Economic Empowerment Framework that will make it mandatory for white-owned businesses to sell a 25 percent stake to blacks, President Hage Geingob told reporters Tuesday in the capital, Windhoek.

We have to address the underlying structural impediments which make it difficult, if not impossible, for Namibians to effectively participate in the economy,” Geingob said.

The bill outlines six areas to increase black citizens’ participation in business, including developing people’s skills and providing financing for those disadvantaged by inequality to buy stakes in companies. While only about 6 percent of Namibia’s 2.5 million citizens are white, they own most enterprises. That’s a legacy of white-minority rule South Africa imposed when it controlled Namibia from World War I to 1990, with black people being disenfranchised and displaced.

Go to Kinshasa which is literally a melting pot of all the country's region that's how they co exist. The people from the East (Kivus) are even more nationalist because they are bearing the brunt and often victims of this violence and always insist in not balkanizing. You have people from different parts of the country who co exist with each other. I do not know much of CIV's ehtnic problems DRC is not CIV, Kenya, South Sudan or Nigeria when it comes to ethnic/tribal coexistence or lack thereof. Congolese have been living with each other in harmony since independence (apart for Moise Tshombe's attempt to break away Katanga and this again was influenced by Western powers.
Your optimism seems to be blinding you.
The ethnic situation in DRC is far worse than CIV or Kenya.

It's like he wants to ruin his country or something

I am not sure what that is all about, but if he really wanted to think outside of the box he should approach HBCU's in the USA to see if he could get new college graduates to come and teach in schools in Liberia for a couple of years. That would be a great internship for those kids and it would benefit school kids in Liberia.

HBCU's are really good at producing teachers. A bunch of retired teachers in the USA might even go for a year or two to teach in Liberia. I don't understand why Liberia does not try to capitalize on their relationship with African Americans and the USA the same way that Sierra Leone does. I really like what they are doing in Sierra Leone; they are going all in on the Heritage stuff with African Americans. In fact Sierra Leone is becoming one of the World's fastest growing travel destinations. That country is doing some good stuff.

Numerous HBCUs already have partnerships with schools in Liberia. The thing is HBCUs in the states arent really focusing on the majors a nation like Liberia needs. I Think schools like NC A&T, FAMU, and Alabama A&M are some of the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

Then you have to ask how many kids with Engineering degrees would want to give up a cushy 60-70k entry level gig in the states to live rough and make a fraction of that in Liberia which is not a tourist destination what so ever. A nation like Liberia needs people who are willing to sacrifice for the greater good, and thats something more suited for people more established in their careers than recent college grads who have no real experience in anything.

These countries all have their doors open to anyone willing to help, the real question is who from the Americas actually want to go and help build. I just got back from Liberia and there were a group off AA nurses from Philly staying at my hotel who were volunteering.
