Taliban was created to fight the Russians. ISIS was created as a result of Iraq's destabilization. Both American products. Not sure what's hard to understand.

ISIS being there means one of our own State Agencies known or unknown want us to stay there. ISIS is directly controlled by the US and is a US creation. Unlike Alqaeda who broke off and is just legit randos, ISIS has hand picked leaders and foot soldiers who are more skilled with weapons and for some reason have access to high end equipment.

Afghanistan has been Islamic for a long time. And it was Islamic and pretty good by Western standard between 1953 and 1978. The Soviet-assisted takeover fukked up that country and it has stayed that way ever since. But the Egyptian-conservative Islamists that moved to Afghanistan was the 1st seed in that downfall.

Haven't watched the video but the whole "Afghanistan was good by western standards" is a little bit more complicated than that. All the videos and images that have been resurfacing lately about "modern" Afghanistan (especially concerning women) is basically the Kabul elite. There was a huge difference with the countryside that was much more conservative, poor, less educated and essentially abandonned by the capital. Which obviously created resentment and fertile soil for local armed groups who were against the central regime. Also the communists arose from within, and the Soviet invasion was to support the communist regime against those inner rebellions, NOT to install one. Communists were already in charge. Long story short, there's always been serious INTERNAL conflict : moudjahideen was also fighting against one another, not only against the Soviets, especially once the Soviets were defeated to see who would take Kabul, between the Taliban and other armed groups, even among Talibans with regards to harboring Al-Qaeda.

We bombed them for 20 years. Didn’t work. Time to just admit we lost the war and Afghanistan cannot be conquered from the outside. US failed, USSR failed, Alexander The Great failed.

It can easily be conquered but it cant be done humanely without alot of casualties...

Western invasion is the reason the middle east is so fukked up now. These terrorists groups only exist as a response to outside nations destabilizing their homeland.

You can't just invade and start wars with people, start playing proxy war games, using those people like pawns, then act like glassing the entire country is the only solution to a problem the U.S. helped cause.
