They were in the country for 20yrs, spent trillions of dollars and didn’t spend time building institutions, the police, army etc? A few weeks after they leave and the country falls apart to the Taliban?:mjtf:

The fukk were they doing there for 20yrs. That’s more than enough time to build a functioning state

The choice is to fight the taliban and live in a free country or join them and live in a barbarian medieval state. That’s the choice


What will be barbarian and medieval with the Taliban in charge. Their way of thinking is not that far off from the Saudi's and other Middle East countries...

The Yanks did train the Afghan Army. Yanks are shyt at training foreign militaries.

Why would I bother answering a stupid question. If you want to know about taliban rule, go read on their first rule and what it was really like and then compare their lives to Saudi Arabians now and see if it’s the same.

What book would you recommend I read?
