The Oscars have been known to be a political organization where voters are essentially bribed.

Joker was far too good a movie to have been snubbed this much all night.

This will go down as one of the WOAT Academy Awards, up there with the year that Crash won

Because a coma is really the only way you'd think "Parasite" had zero buzz in the media. The media was calling it the movie of the year as soon as it came out. Not to mention it was the most critically acclaimed movie of the year, before the Oscars even.

As notoriously indifferent as I am to award shows, critics, etc....I gotta quote Biz Markie here.

"Damn it feels good to see people up on it."

I been telling cats about Bong Joon Ho for years on here. Literally, there's posts from 2014 if not before. Not to mention back on SOHH I was singing the praises of Korean/foreign cinema.

So while I'm about the actual award....if this makes people check out foreign cinema in general that's awesome. Because cats have been sleeping, for damn near 20 years at this point.

And what's funny is, like @Zero said "Parasite" isn't even his best movie.

The movie got a limited release back in May 2019. Did $167 mill on a $11 mill budget despite that.

It's now February 2020 and it won 4 Academy Awards.

Be completely out of touch with reality, brehs.
