I've never had a problem with Jason not showing his face because when you think about it.. It's kind of like on the battlefield they tell the soldiers not to salute or any other sign of respect to the commanding officers while in enemy territory because now the enemy would know who to aim they snipers at

Same thing applies to black leadership. If the enemy knows who are leading us they can easily destroy them

Alright so what's your solution.

I remember reading a similar convo with someone else on here. He said group economics won't work and someone asked what his solution was and dude listed off a bunch of books and was talking bout we need to invoke the Egyptian system of equitable cosmology. I was like :dahell:

It's in general breh, don't flatter yourself. Too many times I read, hear, and see folks complain about small insignificant things. People have never seen the faces of countless movie studio owners but will see a movie they made no problems. No nit picking what so ever. But when it comes to black folks it's a convo. Why the convo? I wanna know why it's a huge deal. I really wanna know why it was even brought up. It's never brought up on filthy foul movies. But a documentary on black empowerment and that's the discussion on this and other threads. I don't understand the point. Some people not discussing the positives just pointing out the negative. Sorry if I seemed like I was coming at you. I just get upset at shyt like that cause I see the double standard. It also derails the convo of the thread.

Breh I've noticed the same thing. When it comes to black people all of a sudden nikkas wanna get super critical and want answers to every question imaginable. There's an inherent distrust among black people for each other and that shyt is a cancer (I had to purge myself from that bullshyt).

I don't need to see Jason blacks face to know group economics is something we need to do.

I was in there. I don't talk about it; I be about it :pacspit:

The movie was good and it kept my attention; I like how they talked about marcus garvey and madam cj walker. I was disappointed to know what the lady the started carol's daughter sold it to l'oreal and also the information about the negro league was very informative. I hope they sell dvd copies because more brothers and sisters should see this; also I missed out on important parts because a lady behind me would not shut up and kept commentating. Also this is a movie I want to see over and over again; I bought the pursuit of happyness along time ago to stay focus motivation.

I loved the part when they talked about the black vote; because your black vote does not matter without financial backing. Also how they broke down detroit was :whoo:; there in the process of making detroit all white.

I always been serious about opening up a business/businesses and I'm ready to do it. I do not know if it's going to be in los angeles; I will see. The part about black people buying shoes hurt my heat because I collect shoes; but I told my mom if I sold all of my shoes I can make 4000-4500. My mom said I should not because she know I wanted them since I was a kid and I was finally able to buy them; I have to think about that.

Its that post traumatic slave disorder friend. blacks have been trained to be wary of one another.

sad when you think about it.

I'm thinking a good deal of that is the fact that when you try to follow someones ideology, you are wary of the fact that one hundred men can mobilize an
army to do good, and all it takes is one to sell it out and poison the movement.

Group economics is gold, but being wary of being sold out by a fellow man or sold a bill of goods by a slick talker scares people. It isn't irrational, cause money
and power can fukk the best of us up. History supports this.

Memphis
The turnout for Memphis was kinda disappointing last night but I was glad to see at least around 70 of us. Documentary definitely helped light the fire up under me and I need to check out material from Dr. Andersen. Jason did a q and a afterwards and he really needs to work on his people skills. He would either just ignore the question and rehash what was already said in the doc or completely shyt on someone saying This is our last chance tonight!!! Economics!!!!!!

There was this older brother who was either drunk or :mjcry: at the reality of black folks overall cause him and Jason got into it tough over the phone. The dude who was hosting called him a c00n to his face I was like :damn::laff:
