so adele won album and song of the year?....figured song, but surprised at album....while 25 has some damn good songs, lemonade was the better, more complete album....and you wouldve thought they wouldve gave beyonce the award this year, to make up for not giving it to her for the beyonce album.......

This. Winning a BET award doesn't mean shyt. The most prestigious Black music awards show is The Soul Train Awards. The most prestigious Black film/TV awards show is the Image Awards.

There isn't any white artist with the same popularity level or critical acclaim, of longevity of a Beyoncé, Kanye West, Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar that have never won album of the year.

I believe Beyoncé has won one of the major 3 categories once in her career for single ladies. Adele and Taylor Swift have at least 5.

And that's arguably the best show going yet look at how that show got ditched by Black artists. I guess part of it has to do with Don Cornelius basically hating the youth and Soul Train itself going through their shyt (remember when they'd have an award show every 3 or 4 months?), but since they brought it back they've had some very good shows.
