He and his production team were experimenting with Jazz breaks, sampling R&B etc.
Kendrick and Chance on the conceptual or musical level just really aren't comparable at all.
Let alone when you take all that away and just ask them to craft a rhyme....

As someone who has listened to all three records Anti is not up to par with 25 or Lemonade I don't get where people are seeing that. Artistically it's Rihanna's best effort to date (plus most cohesive album) and she can only do better from here but I knew she wasn't gonna win those big awards but damn 8 noms and went home with 0 Grammys really did her wrong.

As for Lemonade and 25 I knew 25 was going to win this didn't shock me in the least but overall Lemonade was a way more solid project. Beyonce gotta learn to not have so much "help" with the songwriting tho I think that's what's withholding her from winning AOTY on top of the blatant politics

But I agree with most sentiments here we gotta start supporting our own shyt fukk these white owned award shows. That BET Award is worth millions more imo

That's my beef with the mainstream, it's perception of Black Artistry and of course Hip-Hop as a genre
and legitimate artistic force.
Hell I love Kendrick, I regularly champion the guy, however I also love Oddisee, Blu and Skyzoo three guys
who'll never see the same amount of sales,accolades and appreciation.
