Those are all gonna bomb. TMNT is the only one that I have any interest.

The Rock as a star? :snoop: He ain't carryin' shyt but an Olympic size bar.

Jupiter Ascending? That title is already too complex for mainstream

Malificient will do okay with the Disney crowd but it'll suck and get bad word of mouth like Great and Powerful OZ

Tom Cruise gotta stop making generic looking ass Sci-Fi movies. Too much CGI.

Your interest means nothing...mainstream appeal? The Angelina and TMNT will matter....Hercules might be alright....the promotion hasn't started.

The Live action Disney franchises have been gold so far (I.e. Alice In Wonderland) so Maleficient will probably do numbers.

Jupiter Ascending is going to flop. Bank on it. It's not based upon a book, video game, anime, or manga so there's no built in fanbase, it's not a sequel to an existing hit, and the last Wachowski's movie that DIDNT flop was released in 2003.

Hercules could be a sleeper hit. Don't underestimate the drawing power of The Rock and it might be a fun popcorn flick.

Edge Of Tomorrow will probably do alright. The premise is dope and the trailer is really interesting. I see it as a modest sized hit.

TMNT will clean up with little kids. That shyt ain't flopping

Maleficient won't flop with as much advertising as it's getting. It will be a low key surprise summer hit

Jupiter rising will flop

Edge of tomorrow will do Okay

Ninja Turtle will be a hit

That Hercules joint will flop

OP you should have included GOTG.

Let's be honest if it weren't a Marvel movie I don't think anyone here would have ever paid a dollar to go see it.

Even WITH the Marvel stamp I'm sure there's lots of people out there that think it looks fukkin retarded.
Like I mentioned earlier this is using the film's production costs as a barometer of how much they will need to make to be successful...Marvel is keeping the cost of Guardians of the Galaxy to themselves.
I do agree that it is the riskiest Marvel movie so far since it is based off of an obscure comic, features a leading man that is not a star and is directed by a guy not known for making box office hits.
Plus I think Marvel dropped the ball by not having the post-credits scene from Capt. America: The Winter Soldier focus on the Guardians movie instead of the Avengers sequel. Everybody is already going to see the Avengers, that movie didn't need any help.
