Just watched the first episode of "The Knick". It was crazy as hell.

Is this historically accurate? Were they really sending out goons to snatch up patients back then?

I couldn't live during 1900. shyt looked grimey as fukk back then. :scust:

"Boardwalk Empire" is 20 years later but god damn....it's like night and day. I don't know which is more historically accurate, maybe they both are equally, and things improved that much in 20 years. But the year 1900 looks straight :scusthov:

BOARDWALK FELL THE fukk OFF

HOMELAND TOO

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

TV shows falling off is why television will NEVER be better than movies IMO..even if it is fun to keep up week to week

supposedly it is breh. they have a true fact before every episode that inspires one of the storylines in that particular episode

you're gonna :heh: @ some of the technology they get excited for as you continue to watch .. we really have it good tech wise these days

and fincher is the MAN..but no way the UTOPIA remake is gonna be fukking with the OG..no way in hell

the visuals, the music, some of the acting..just can't be replicated

i'll still watch though :mjpls:

I love the cinematography and colors, at this point I'm merely intrigued. I still don't know what the fukk is going on exactly, so I'm waiting to get a firmer grasp on things once it starts to explain stuff more, about to start episode 3. I quit weed to get a job so I'm filling in all my weed smoking time with binging on shows. I dig that british shows are typically 6 episodes..makes it easier. The only thing that has annoyed me at all is the CGI blood :heh:
breh

if you thought barry lyndon was dope visually (it was)

this shyt gonna wreck you

better get back on the drugs before each ep  :birdman:

yeah from what I hear the knick is very accurate. First few episodes of the knick are a little slow, but god damn, the last two episodes have been pure WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO status

A rare graphic novel (comic book) that has something in it worth killing for. On the surface that's what the show is about. Towards the end of the season you find out what it's really about and it's :mindblown:

You and @RJY33 peep the first scene. After that peep the first ep, at the very least. If you think it's wack, neg rep me:

Fred.

I hate the fact that I can only tell people what the show starts off as, and they give me the :comeon: cause it doesn't sound interesting.

three episodes in, I was scared to go outside. :sadcam:

Yeah medicine was grimey as hell back than. Penicillin didnt come about till the 1940s or so, so any infection was pretty much a death sentence. But i only watched the 1st episode on demand. Anybody got links to the rest of the season :feedme:

The last scene with the chlorox and chilli pepper :merchant:
