Like it or not, Eli will get in the HOF, I think he should wait some, but it is what it is. He’s a Manning who played for a storied franchise, who is liked somewhat by the media, beat the Pats twice (those two throws (Tyree and Manningham) will live in NFL Films’ lore, SB MVP, and the playoff runs would be enough for him, the story of stopping the Pats from going undefeated, while being the underdog (Looking at it from the voter’s perspective and their love for narratives).

Eli Manning was not a Hall of Fame caliber player.
He will be elected...because of his name, he won 2 Super Bowls, he played in a high profile media market, and he's cultivated a likeable image.
But he will be one of the least-deserving electees in decades.
