How do yall envision Keaton Mitchell’s role, with the current backfield timeshare? It’s exciting thinking about the possibilities but then at the same time Henry and Hill have earned all their touches( and hill has become great at pass pro).

I've wondered about Keaton's return too especially with how well everyone has played. It's kind of like the same "worry" we all had last year with the rise of Isiah Lilely with respect to Andrews being out.

Henry is still the man so I think Keaton will be battling Hill for playtime.

I think this season is a wash for Mitchell. He’ll be back but he doesn’t do anything better than what they already got. I think he’ll get most of his touches in garbage situations

I can see that, I feel like he’s a “special” runner compared to Hill but it doesn’t out weight his receiving and pass blocking, then Henry has breakaway ability like a little guy lol. Idk tho I still feel like he’s a weapon that can be formidable even with 5-7 touches

Yea I hope they do. Just to give defenses something else to think about

Imagine misdirections with zay, Henry, and Mitchell on the field 🫨🫨. I swear we just gotta hope for a miracle with this defensive scheme. I feel like it’s more Orrs play calling and game planning vs our actual talent level

That's exactly what we don't need. We need the defense to play better and the team as a whole be more disciplined. Way too many penalties and that is going to be our downfall.

What part are you saying we don’t need
My bad. I was mainly talking about misdirections with Zay, Henry, and Mitchell. I would like Mitchell to get some touches but no need to disrupt the chemistry we already have with Henry and Hill in the backfield. I agree with letting Mitchell get some touches in garbage time but what we are doing right now is working well so why mess with it?

That’s the part I keep going back and forth on. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it but Keaton was the very reason Hill turnt his game up lol. I just feel like we can’t let his talent go to waste even if it’s only 5-7 touches. I will say though I have a soft spot for backs with Keaton skill-set lol. If monkey can scheme it without it being forced I think we become even more dangerous
