That would be delaying his expected ouster. That's what you want?

I want him gone yesterday, but I disagree with the black hole at DH against Atlanta. I would rather sit him on the bench and give Vientos a chance. I can always dump vogelbach next week after he stinks it up against Pittsburgh.

They are both not hitting well at the moment. I don't see a huge difference.

One is a finished product and the other has potential. Vientos could strike out every AB or he might be able to hit a big home run. Vogelbach is a DH who can't give you power and would need a pinch runner for. I'll take the potential in against Atlanta vs the sure out

Vogelbach hit 18 HR last year and currently has 2. I think they are hoping he tracks closer to his track record. Vientos doesn't really have one. Plenty of baseball left our season does not hinge on tonight's game.

The GOAT, Jacob deGrom :salute:

I’ll never forget this game for how deGrom just kept battling hitter after hitter, runners on and still kept getting out of jams and giving us enough time to get the W.

Was even better in game 5, didn't have his best stuff and just pitched his ass off until Thor and Familia finished it.:mjcry:
