That would require him to pitch multiple times a week on a relievers warm up routine, I don't think he has the capacity for that.

We finally got a good medical staff. So far the deGrom and Correa decisions are correct.
I would hate to see how bad his stuff looks if he makes it back from this. At least our last memory of him is winning a playoff game and being the old Jake.

Was this the same staff in place too when we passed on Kumar Rocker for medical reasons? I remember we got killed for that, he just had TJ surgery of his own last month

Not just the fastballs; I remember seeing his off speed stuff like changeups and sliders being low 90s, like, who does that? I think it was the game last year against the Braves where he flirted with a no hitter; his stuff was positively filthy, but in the back of my mind I was like
