Yeah, no way we were giving him near that. Props to him though, and we should have some nice comp picks.
Why are they letting everyone go on defense when they were so good defensively last year? They’re setting up the offense to fail by needing them to win shootouts every week.4 key defensive players gone just like that

You never let talented and young players leave thinking you’ll just draft a good replacement. That’s just asking for trouble. It’s the mentality that led to them wasting a pick on Perriman a few years ago.Yeah I’m confused too. My guess is they want to build thru the draft - I’m hearing it’s pretty loaded with DEs so we could replace Suggs and Smith with a couple young guys which I’m ok with but it def feels like a step back from where we were last year
Ain’t nothing special about none of these dudes we let walkYou never let talented and young players leave thinking you’ll just draft a good replacement. That’s just asking for trouble. It’s the mentality that led to them wasting a pick on Perriman a few years ago.
Dudes may not be special individually, but as a unit they had it together. That's a lot of pieces gone. Who is going to lead the D and have the green dot with both Mosley and Weddle gone? They were lost when both were hurt at the same time. Who rushing the QB? Offense better get a whole lot of talent and Lamar better have a big offseason workoutAin’t nothing special about none of these dudes we let walk
We’re good breh
So you want us to continue to overpay average players?Dudes may not be special individually, but as a unit they had it together. That's a lot of pieces gone. Right. Kind of hurts in the moment to see all these dudes go, but it'd hurt a lot more if we were saddled down with the contracts they've been getting so far.So you want us to continue to overpay average players?
Thats the reason we’ve been in cap hell for so long
CJ not worth 17 per year and ZaDarius definitely not worth 16.5 per year
DeCosta is doing the right thing by letting them walk
Its up to the young players like Peanut,Kenny Young,Tim Williams,Tyus Bowser, and Deshon Elliot to step up
They’ll probably add a vet a safety for insurance and draft another pass rusher amd ILB
We’ll be fine on defense
