Saban prepared both qbs to start. He couldn't just up and bench the reigning SEC player of the year while the team was still winning. It is clear now that at no point was Justin being prepared to take over. They brought him in the same way you bring in a rb to run the wildcat. That's where they messed up. All you had to do was turn Fields loose against some the cupcakes and actually be willing to bench Fromm whenever he starts to stink it up and it would have worked out.However, Saban at least attempted to develop Tua throughout the season. Tua wasn't flawless that freshman year. He has some rough spots, but Saban was always keeping him ready just in case. Its why I don't know why UGA fans here were getting mad at people for pointing out how Kirby had Fields in games just to hand the ball off.
