Why the fukk are they trying to trade him? He's one of the best catchers in baseball and under team control through 2022.

indians are winning the division next season. prominent players were injured or slumping in the early goings. Ownership is cheap and went in this last season with a tanking batting lineup. However they made a push with trades about halfway through when pitching prospects kept them afloat.


the front office is top five in baseball in developing and trading for talent.

they beat the yankees/red sox to go to the AL finals and win or lose in the world championship

that's my hot take, they follow the royals blueprint but a couple years off schedule

cuz the cubs are gonna retool & since Theo traded the best prospects for rentals/bums Contreras will bring back a nice return. Caratini can start/sign a vet for a year. They have a catcher prospect named Miguel Amaya(2021 eta) Who is top 100 right now. This gonna hurt , I think Bryant gets moved too. Báez most likely gonna get extend
