Of course the ATL
FLOWERY BRANCH — Here are five quick takes from Saturday’s practice, the third of training camp.

1. Julio Jones held back. Falcons All-Pro wide receiver Julio Jones attended practice, but did not take part in many drills. He had an “unspecified tweak.” He did run some routes and participate in most of the individual drills.

2. Big hit of the day. Cornerback Robert Alford had the biggest hit of the day, the first padded practice.

3. Nickel back help. Rookie Brian Poole worked with the first-team defense in the nickel cornerback position. He batted down a couple of passes.

4. Reed and Shelby at end. The Falcons first-team defensive line consisted of defensive end Brooks Reed, defensive tackle Tyson Jackson, defensive tackle Grady Jarrett and defensive end Derrick Shelby in the base defense.

5. Trufant assisted by Neal. During 7-on-7 drills, Falcons rookie safety Keanu Neal tipped a Matt Ryan pass that was intended for wide receiver Mohamed Sanu Sr. and cornerback Desmond Trufant made the interception.

I like the d is good, but I personally I think Ryan is on the decline and we will see it this year :wow:

This season will be Matts make or break:francis:
Unfortunately I feel like we've been saying this for like 5 years.

We're stuck with dude for at least another year after this one, so I guess we gotta get in board.

Hopefully this is just the defense looking better than expected.

@SubZeroDegrees you can't spell Who Dat without WOAT. You lose again

You can't spell Falcons without CONS which relates to Bland Ryan and lil brother in Atlanta. :umad:

How mad will you be when we shut down the New Orleans Georgia Dome in style with an another victory against you bums?:wow:

@Sly Cookin beat it and go back to the kiddie table, Grown Folks talking.
