Rolling into day two of the draft
Myles Jack and Ragland are still on the board

But I have a strong felling they'll both get picked before they fall
to pick 50 in the draft. And with the limited picks the Falcons have I doubt
they'll trade up

I like Neal but that pick was a reach. It is what it is.

We better not be rolling into next season with what we have in the front four. Shelby was a solid pick up but he's not moving the needle. Need to draft at least a DE or a DT tomorrow. Don't get me started on the line backing corp :scust:

Of course the ATL
I heard some chatter that we may move him to LB :why: but if this goes as planned he's our starting SS next season. We go LB at #50, DE in the 3rd round, OG in the 4th (or trade back) and LB in the 7th then I'm ok with this draft. A lotta draft boards had him as a 3rd/4th round prospect some had him late first/early second. Keanu is a reach to me and even tho he fills a need I think we coulda traded back, recouped a pick for the fifth round and still got him. But I'll let the rest of the draft pan out before I rush to judgement, but I'll be honest and say I was underwhelmed by the pick. We still don't have a pass rush :francis:

So after further review, I love this pick. Apparently we were going to trade up for Karl Joseph but settled when the Raiders reached for him. Also, had we not selected neal, Pittsburgh was about to select him as they project him to be a Polamalu type player.

Overall, a ton of good players still left. Ragland, dodd, Bullard, x'ua cravens, and several other I would love. So far, we got 1 starter through 1 round. Can't wait for tomorrow brehs:salute:

Main thing it is with me, I hate when you have to thrown
**an untested rookie into the fire in key position(s)
such as SS, FS, CB

**Yes, I'm expecting Neal to be a starter, This kid is trash
in my book if he can't beat out Ishmael for the starting SS postition.

Eastside Atl -
:ehh:

Picked up an enforcer/tone setter in Neal and what we hope to be some playmakers at LB and TE

Us standing pact with the front 4 on D so far tells me they really believe Hagemen gonna make the jump to be a legit player along with Vic.

Edit: Courtney Upshaw also influenced them not going D-line

This draft is ehhh so far. Jones and Campbell both bring speed to the table but need work in other areas. I like the Cooper pick though.

Beasley, Jarrett, and Hageman have to step up or it might get ugly in the trenches.
