The fukk happened since the other day. I come back to the thread and all hell broke loose.

I heard we should trade for JSmooth to pair with Cousins and that IT was what gel'd the team. Get that shyt outta here. IT is a 5'8" version of Lance Stephenson without the defense. Malone talks about how he wants to be a defensive team, you can't do that with a gunner that's cheeks on defense. Literally the only way you bring IT back is if he accepts a 6th man role for like 4-6 million a year, 7 being the highest.

You don't know what the hell Gay's gonna do and he also has a big as contract at like 19 mil for next season. If you can get him to renegotiate, i'd be for keeping him, but I think he want's the money. Ship him out and try to get some good pieces for him.

@GoldenGlove here's a redo on the trade from yesterday:
Would Bulls brehs do this if yall don't get Melo or Love? 8th and Rudy Gay for Taj/Jimmy/the rights to Mirotic or if yall don't wanna give up Mirotic, how about the 19th pick instead?

I'd take a line up of:
McCallum
McElmore
Butler
Gibson
Cousins

with the Mirotic or the 19th pick plus all the cap room we'd get from trading Gay.
I don't think Mirotic is available, so that would kill that trade so it would have to be the 19th Pick + Taj/Jimmy option. If Melo indicates that he's not coming and the Bulls know I wouldn't be mad at that trade for Gay. He only has a year left, we need perimeter scoring. We would then have the 8th Pick and the 16th Pick to get younger and better offensive talent, and since Taj would be gone and hopefully Boozer as well, they could bring over Mirotic as well...

dam people still calling for isaiah thomas' job just because they dont like his height.

discrimination.
It ain't just his height with me. His defense is lacking and he can score 20 a night, but he'll give up 20 as well. He freezes people out a lot and only passes it if he's forced to. If the Kings could keep him for cheap as a 6th man, I'd be for it, but as a starter, dude is lacking.

I read an article on NBA.com that implied Dennis Schroder could be a potential trade target for the Kings pick.

Kings put No. 8 pick on trading block | NBA.com

Def can't see that happening. Unless the Hawks package their own pick along with him. And even then, that still seems like a big stretch.
Who the hell said the Hawks wanted to trade Schroeder? I swear you might be the most random poster on this site.

Dude in the article Implied he was one of the players the Kings liked and could potentially trade for breh. Learn how to read.

It was immediately unclear if the Kings have a specific target. But Dennis Schroder, the German point guard firmly behind Jeff Teague on the Hawks depth chart, could come up. Had McLemore been gone at No. 7, Sacramento would have looked hard at Schroder or at trading back.

Teague > IT

+most mocks have them taking ennis who is a pg

+they've been rumored, as stated above, that they were targeting dennis schroeder

so clearly they dont view thomas as the future at point guard
Anyone who says IT is basically like Teague needs to be banned. Teague is a much better PG than IT. Thomas lack of size and defense skills with his offensive consistency being average makes him your typical stud 6th man. Jeff is at least a good player in general regardless of what I think of his PG skills. I like IT, he is talented and a fun player to watch but no team can start him at PG in today's NBA without paying a price.

Once again, who the hell said the Hawks want to trade Schroeder? Not would the Kings be interested. The Hawks aren't trading our most talented guard who we are currently developing for our system.

:snoop: nikkas read into EVERYTHING on here.

Nobody is talking about Embiid being the next Thabeet because he SUCKS like him.

But anyone who drafts him is taking a bigger chance than normal based on his INJURY SITUATION.

A back injury for a big man is a death sentence in many cases. Especially for a dude who clocked less than 24 mins a game in college, on a lighter schedule than he'll see in the league. Can you honestly picture dude playing close to 30 a night in a 82 game season, bangin in the post against STRONGER, more athletic players and staying healthy?
His back issue could be small or quite large. It depends on his body. He is young but back issues have been kryptonite for bigs in the past so we will see.

Hmmm. Don't get me wrong, dude has the potential to develop into something special. Just tryna figure out how y'all find PT for him and Teague.

A lot of teams have two PG's in the NBA today. It's en vogue. Jeff will be traded either this off-season or next. It's best to trade him this year for a lotto pick. Jeff is clearly a much better player than Dennis right now but Dennis potential and his talent is clearly one of the best on the squad. Jeff would solidified the PG position for Sac-Town.

Something like Derrick Williams and the #8 for Teague would be ideal. Draft Gordon and draft another PG at #15 like Ennis or Nic Stuckas(ms). I know Derrick is a bust and trash but his contract is the only one that makes this deal possible since Sac is over the cap.

This biggest problem with any trade to Sac is you have to take a contract since they are so over the cap. So you would have to take Williams or Terry contract. Regardless of what i think about Taj or Butler trade value, that might take the Bulls out of any trade for that pick. Honestly, the 19th plus Taj isn't bad value at all. Gets them a decent pick and a decent vet. With that said, Chicago taking a contract would make it impossible to afford Melo so I don't see this happening. I still see Taj being traded for pennies if signing Melo is their goal. Chicago thinks too highly if they think teams want Mike D that badly. Even for cap space as it is precious to many teams this year.

You would draft a pg if we traded teague? Why not let schroeder cook and let mack back him up? Or even sign patty mills. I just think there's a better shooting guard selection at #15

Josh Smith will and can be traded this off-season. I hear this talk that he is untradeable and that's not true. Now, his value is low but you can get hid of him and Jennings and their are teams who would take them off of your hands.

Simple, Stautkas and Ennis can be good PG's but at 15, you have many options. Early or Hood? Harris or Young? We can go so many directions at 15. PG is a position where options are available. Our system is favorable in general. Signing someone like Patty Mills or resigning Mack would be enough to hold us over till Dennis is ready to start.
