Fernando Rodney should buy Justin Smoak just about anything he wants after that play right there. Rodney is so trash.

The "falling from top 10 to not mentioned at all" process seems to happen much quicker and much more unpredictably in Baseball than in other sports for some reason. Same thing happened to Zito.

I wasn't really following the game like I do now...but he was NEVER in Lincecum's class.
True enough, but during that time period he was considered one of the best pitchers in the league, only to be complete
for the most part when he got to SF.The salient point is that player development and production seems to be much more random than in other sports. Hell Aaron Harang been average his whole career and now he's with us looking like the second coming of Maddux.
