Baltimore Ravens linebacker Arthur Brown has been the subject of trade discussions with other teams, according to league sources.

Brown, who was selected in the second round of last year's NFL draft by the Ravens, was a healthy inactive last week. He appeared in 14 games as a rookie, but did not start a game.

The Ravens selected former University of Alabama linebacker C.J. Mosley in the first round of this year's draft.

I don't want him traded at all

At least put him on the field first to see if he can play

These nikka trying to trade a 2nd round pick who they traded up to select just 1 year ago and hasn't even played 20 snaps

It's like we've turned into the browns since that February night last year. Fire sale of the roster (a marlins move), inept front office moves and bad coaching, awful pr, no identity as a team. What the fukk is happening to our football team?

Yeah, I'm not sure what they're thinking with this, I just can't see teams giving up anything of value (this is the NFL) for an unproven guy.

The coaching and scouting have been terrible

I also hate our draft philosophy

They claim they take BPA but every year we pass on elite offensive talent to draft average defensive players.

I've been extremely pissed by our last 2 offseasons but kept quiet thinking they must have a plan but now it looks like they're just winging

I mean we already have Suggs,Upshaw, and McPhee outside, why sign Dumervill when we could've used that money to fill one of our needs

Same with the Mosley pick, we already haver Brown and Smith under contract for 3 years so why not use that 1st rounder to fill a need like corner or safety? shyt makes no sense

We had 2 glaring hole to fill this past offseason at RT and FS and these dudes didn't draft or sign a RT and they they sign some bum from the Rams to play FS and wait til the 3rd round of a draft that had some decent safeties to draft a dude who is currently 3rd string

Don't even get me started on how we keep neglecting the WR position and have been bringing in old washed dudes for years thinking they are gonna be the savior

Im usually try to be positive when it comes to the Ravens but this shyt starting to get to me.

It looks like we could've gotten calvin prior, and he's looking good for the Jets:sadcam:. And we've could've taken a chance on Justin Hunter (really liked him at TN) the year before to get a potential no 1 WR for the long term.:sadcam:

I think we've also just been in a bad draft position for our needs in the last couple of drafts, and it looks like Ozzie plays it too safe with the "best football player available", and they've haven' been the dynamic guys we thought.

Hope that's the case, Brown and Mosley could be a nice tandom for years to come.

So basically other teams recognize we have a talented player who we aren't using so they're trying to get him from us for probably a late round pick :snoop:

They better not trade this nikka

Yea I really wanted Cordarrelle Patterson or Justin Hunter in 2013.Patterson went like 2 or 3 picks before ours but I was mad we took Elam.

Also I don't think we've been in a bad draft position. I think the front office just be fukking up trying to be too cute.We either try to let players fall to us when we should just trade up a couple spots and they end up getting picked right before our pick our we trade back when its still good talent on the board and all those players end up being gone when its our turn again.

Its just crazy if you look back at all our drafts after the Flacco/Rice draft we've either passed on some elite talent or traded back(while only getting late round picks smh) while elite talent was still on the board

I seriously haven't liked any of our 1st round picks since Jimmy Smith. Some of these scouts need to go, every year we do dumb shyt in the draft like trade up in the 2nd to take a dude who we refuse to play, or draft a FB in the 3rd round and then don't play him all year, or take a TE who everyone says was a 6 the round prospect at best in the 3rd round. Even the Telafiaro pick was a head scratcher, dude would've probably went undrafted and we took him in the 4th :snoop:

Its like these nikka dont watch college football or something

Yeah, our scouting has just been trash the past couple of years especially when it comes to late(er) round guys.:damn:

And I def agree with them waiting for a guy to fall to them.

He was the most impressive ILB in pre season imo. He swarmed to the ball and actually delivering some nice hits. I honestly think he's better than Mosely at the moment. He's a better tackler at least.

i agree 100%

He has really good instincts plus like how he attacks and doesnt just sit back and wait for the ball carrier to come to him

and its not like we run a complicated defense or anything so i dont see any reason why hes not on the field
