His passive-aggressive playcaling is so awful :snoop:

What the fukk is up with the tackling? Nobody on the team can tackle except Webb, who seems to be forever injured :snoop:
He's said in the past that the mentality is to bend but not break on d by holding up in the red zone. Well if this guy were any kind of decent then the other teams wouldn't be in the red zone so damn often with us having to stiffen up then. It's a moral victory to not give up a touchdown but a field goal is still worth points. Teams don't win titles with this mindset on defense. Yes I'm aware we did, but that was the goat team of destiny run, even over the 2011 dallas Mavericks.

Happy with the win but we really looked like dogshyt at points.

Elam was so fukking bad. Torrey mailed in another one. Daryl Smith looks like he's aged overnight. The secondary as a whole looks fukking garbage. Jimmy Smith has carried his form from last season into this one. Playing like an elite shutdown corner. While Suggs had a good game, the lack of QB pressure from him and Doom is :beli:

Dean Pees as a whole :beli:

Taliaferro/Forsett duo looks fantastic. O-line impressed me a lot as a whole. Kelechi is back to looking like a star. Juice has shown he's able to block too.

The D, despite only allowing 3 TDs so far, looks :scust: at points. Giving up chunks of yards. I really think our only consistent great player on D is Jimmy Smith at the moment. Maybe Mosley but it's too early to crown him. I want to see Jernigan and Brooks play.
cosign this, thats why i dont understand Arthur Brown not playing

Daryl Smith has probably been the 3rd worst player on the defense so far this season after Elam and Stewart

also Jernigan is hurt.He hurt his meniscus in practice the other day and will be out a couple weeks. He played well last week tho

far as the oline, they have been good but they have to start doing a better job getting a push on short yardage runs.We been getting stopped on too many 3rd & 1/4th & 1 runs

Next man up: Asa.
Wouldn't even surprise me if Webb shuts it down for the year. Back problems are no joke and unpredictable. That contract, though... :sadcam:

Just got back from the game.

The good:
Steve Smith is legit. Our oline is amazing. We were just bullying Carolina's dline. Hurst played well, had no problems, and held his own easily. Our dline played great too. They were clogging the run lanes. Ngata and Williams were a force. Not game related, but Tucker was hitting from 65-70 in warm-ups. A shame he missed during the game. It was nice to finally see Marlon and Torrey get going too.

The bad:
Coverage is garbage. During the first half I kept noticing how bad the ball skills were for #24 and #26. Then I realized that was Elam and Stewart, they are worse in person then they are on TV. I hate to pile on but Elam just looked slow out there and his technique looked bad too. Our inside backers play little too deep and give up the underneath easily.

This was the most complete game the Ravens played to date. I think the offense flows better with Forsett and Taliaferro. Hurst looked mean, our oline is playing lights out... CJ Mosley was the best draft pickup in a long time, love him. Our secondary is our weakness though, teams our throwing to Elam and Chykie. Webb is hurt and even if he is on the field I don't trust him to be 100%. We should have shut them out but our FS blew the coverage... Jimmy and Asa are playing well...Waiting on Will Hill to be reinstated and see how we do then in the back end.

I agree with everything y'all are saying. Mosley is legit. Smith gave up one or two short gains but he's pretty much a shutdown corner at this point. I'm amazed with his development from 2 years ago where he'd constantly bite on double moves.

Elam is looking like a bust. He's getting picked on by offenses now.

That offense tho :wow:

Osemele is beasting on the o-line. Everyone is but I'm happy for him back from his injury.

Hurst was really good today. I didn't expect that at all from a undrafted rookie getting his first start at LT

Elam is garbage. Stewart is too but he's not a 1st round pick like Elam. We need to give Brooks a shot, he can't possibly be worse than these 2 garbage ass nikkas

Defense got away with a subpar performance because we played a offense with a injured QB, no RBs , and 3 rookies as their top 3 WRs

Next week is gonna be a big test for our secondary going against Wayne, Hilton, and Nicks. If Webb don't play it might be a long day

Dont give up on Elam yet.. Lets wait till we put in Brooks or Hill. Daryl smith is getting beat on coverage, he looks alot older then last season. Jacoby is terrible with kubiak.
