.500 is definitely in sight....but they aren't close to the Reds or Cardinals imo.

The A's are tough.

Tough pitching matchup vs the Nats this weekend but the O's came through. I can't believe that the O's are 10 games over .500 this late into the season Are we going to make the playoffs Just glad to be out of the basement of the AL East Watching the games on TV and the stands are packed now. Not just with the opposing team fans but with actual O's fans. The front office needs to get on they job and fill some of these holes we got. 15 years has been too long to put a winning team on the field.

Jim Tracy exhibited his managerial brilliance tonight.

In a 2-1 game (Nats leading), he let Jeff Francis hit in the bottom of the 5th.

Tracy brought in a reliever to start the 6th.

Francis had only thrown 66 pitches in the game.

I've never seen anything like that before.
