I haven't been able to watch him, but are Jonas Valanciunas' stats over the last month real, as in he's starting to get comfortable & do it up?

Very real, he has a solid post game & decent jumper and plays good defense.

He's really the biggest bright spot there is for the Raptors

Celtics - Wizards review: Bradley does work on Wall | Comcast SportsNet - CSNNE.com

John Wall has been on a tear lately, racking up big numbers and big wins for the Washington Wizards.

He has been playing some of the best basketball of his career, the kind of play that seems to bring out the best defensively in Boston's resident pest, Avery Bradley.

Bradley's defense on Wall was indeed one of the keys to Boston's 107-96 win over the Wizards.

Wall, who dropped 37 points on the Indiana Pacers highly-regarded defense just 24 hours earlier, was held to 16 points on 8-for-20 shooting by Bradley and the C's defense.

Battles between Bradley and Wall date back to when both were stars on the AAU circuit.

Even back then, Wall recalls Bradley's defense being among the best he had to compete against.

"Not too many that will guard you 94 feet the whole game," Wall said. "I don’t know how he finds the energy to do it."

Said Bradley: "I love it. We love battling against each other. He's a very good player. This is what I play the game for, every single night to play against players like John; He's very talented, very good."

Wall holds Bradley in similar regard.

"There is no playing around with him, just get by him," Wall said. "He’s nobody you want to do fancy dribbling with. He does a great job of cutting people off and getting a lot of steals. You just have to get into your offense and (go). Nobody does 94 feet. He does 94 feet the whole game. It would wear you out for 94 feet, guarding you full court and changing your directions and if you mess around, try to play around with him, you might get an eight second call."

Added Wall: "I don't know how he finds the energy to do it."

Bradley's defense on Wall was among the keys to Boston's victory over the Wizards. Here are some other factors outlined prior to the game, and how those factors helped catapult the C's to their seventh straight win over Washington.

I don't think jumping too high is the problem with his jumper, Ben Gordon got up like he was going to dunk when he took jumpers. Blake just releases his shot on the way down which is just :mindblown: It's like someone is holding the shot stick too long. I've read that he was trying to work on that but I don't see it, he still lets go of the shot late but now he just jumps higher than he did before.

Yeah his form is weird, I can't think of anyone else that shoots like that. As long as he is in the habit of shooting on his way down, a shorter jump would just result in a flatter shot.

He has improved and his jumper isn't as broke as people say but I really wonder why he hasn't changed it. Some guys like Kevin Martin and Joakim Noah have perfected ugly jumpers but it seems like it would be easier to just use a more traditional form.

DEERFIELD, Ill. -- The setback Joakim Noah suffered with plantar fasciitis in his right foot could leave the Chicago Bulls big man out for the rest of the regular season, while potentially jeopardizing the All-Star's playing time in the playoffs.

MY favorite prospect. No question.

Forget about who he's playing for because there's no comp. He's the type of player that you can mold into just about whatever you want if you have the patience. He just needs the time to actually learn the game even though he has good instincts. I'd stash him overseas and let him play against stronger comp, but Serge Ibaka played against scrubs in Spain before he came over just to get some PT, so it's all in how he's handled. Kid is really talented.

He'll be the steal of the draft, if he's handled accordingly. If the Bulls didn't already have a prospect developing overseas, he'd be perfect for them - defensive potential with Thibs = :ohlawd:
