Is Vucevic have the potential to be a franchise player? No? Then I'd trade him again, bottom line.

Vucevic is only gonna get better, and is on a rookie contract for the next 3 years. Now y'all still need a center and are gonna have to overpay to get one in this market.

the thing is, you didn't trade a productive young 7 footer on a rookie contract, you donated a productive young 7 footer on a rookie contract.

enjoy Spencer Hawes breh.

Um, we still have Bynum. He's not dead, and his ceiling is much higher than Vucevic. Nikola's footwork and lack of athleticism will always prevent him being a great big man.

I must be missing the memo. Did Andrew Bynum die over the last few months?

I really don't give a shyt that we suck now. As long as Bynum rests up and turns out be a long term franchise player, which he still can, this is all gravy. :ohword:

Bynum may not be dead but those knees are structurally flawed and your team is going to have to make a decision this summer on whether to lock him up long term on a max deal. He's going to want the full 5 years, and the max amount.....this is a dude that hurt his knee bowling. Are you really ok with that?

i think the trade was logical for us to get rid of AI and to get bynum, however, there's no denying that we took the L for now.

And I'd rather take that chance than keep Nik Vucevic, 10 times out of 10.

Eh, that's how teams end up dead in the water, you're taking a chance on someone that has flawed knees, that is not something that will ever recover. I'm not saying they shouldn't have done the trade, but did they even give this dude a physical? What if Bynum comes back and hurts his knee, I doubt the Sixers re-sign him if that happens.

If we don't resign him, we tank next season and try to grab a top prospect in 2014. Win-win either way.
