David Lee Is The Most Disrespected Player In The NBA, Dudes Game Gets No Credit

Why should it? You tend to get disrespect when you put up numbers but haven't gotten into the playoffs and you've been in the League for YEARS.

:mjpls: You saw what D-Will did to Booz when he was with Utah, but now Booz is with D-Rose who isn't the playmaker that :dwillhuh: is and that Thibs demands him to actually play defense. On the Nets Boozer would feast with D-Will again. Plus the big Russian has money to blow. :youngsabo:

haha just what the nets need, another player that plays no defense.

Unreal! As game ended, Rockets announcer Craig Ackerman yelled out that Lakers "just pooped their big-boy pants."

From Rick Bucher

Source: Ignore any and all trade talk about Pau Gasol because the Lakers landed Steve Nash by promisinghim he would get to play with Gasol.

Nash made it a prerequisite for passing on offers from Toronto and the Knicks that Pau would be around, the source said. Such prerequisites from an incoming star aren't that unusual -- Chris Paul made similar personnel demands as part of his agreement to be dealt to the Clippers. (In Paul's case, he wanted assurance that LAC would do whatever was necessary to retain restricted FA DeAndre Jordan.) Conceivably, once Nash gets back and actually plays with Gasol, the Lakers could continue to struggle and Nash re-thinks his position. But as of right now, one of the enticements that brought Nash to LA was the big Spaniard and the organization would have much bigger problems than they already have if they backtracked on their promise to keep Gasol in the fold.

Gerald Wallace fined for flop

Wallace fined by NBA | NBA.com

:laff:

Brooklyn Nets small forward Gerald Wallace became the second player in the NBA -- and second Net -- to be fined under the league's new anti-flopping rules.

The league announced Wednesday that Wallace was fined $5,000 for picking up his second flopping violation of the season late in the third quarter of Saturday night's 102-89 loss to the Miami Heat.

Wallace exaggerated contact and fell to the floor while guarding LeBron James in order to draw a charge as the Miami Heat small forward began to drive to the basket with 51.8 seconds left in the period.

Wallace picked up his first warning for a flop in last Monday night's 96-89 overtime victory over the New York Knicks.

Two weeks ago, Wallace's teammate, power forward Reggie Evans, became the first player in league history to ever be fined for flopping.

Wallace's next violation would result in a $10,000 fine. A fourth violation would result in a $15,000 fine, a fifth $30,000, and six or more could lead to a suspension.

Fine Him Until He's Broke I Say
