The worst part about this is that the 88 year wait is depending on the premise that someone has it in 88 years and cares to release it. Could still be in a vault of the feds then, could be lost too, for whatever reason. Maybe whoever owns it decides he or she does not want to release it at all, wanting the single album to stay special.
That's a possibility as well.
I was also thinking....Being that Jay Z was stressing "art" and how it increases wth time in 4:44 maybe him, or maybe Puffy or Maybe Dr Dre or Maybe Drake (who also stresses art and did try to acknowle the Wu on that song) might snatch that up for the sake of hip hop and just pass it on to their children to hold down.
