The 1 copy Wu Tang LP surpassed Detox as most anticipated of all time but who will care in 88 years?

The worst part about this is that the 88 year wait is depending on the premise that someone has it in 88 years and cares to release it. Could still be in a vault of the feds then, could be lost too, for whatever reason. Maybe whoever owns it decides he or she does not want to release it at all, wanting the single album to stay special.:picard:

That's a possibility as well.

I was also thinking....Being that Jay Z was stressing "art" and how it increases wth time in 4:44 maybe him, or maybe Puffy or Maybe Dr Dre or Maybe Drake (who also stresses art and did try to acknowle the Wu on that song) might snatch that up for the sake of hip hop and just pass it on to their children to hold down.

The hype hasnt started yet.....we have 84 years left.....The hype really wont start until the countdown of its release when we are all dead. Thats why it surpasses Detox because this is some next generation shyt.

And if u are a hip hop head u are aware of the hype from the jump due to its 1 copy rarity down to Martin Shkreli talking shyt to the Wu after purchasing the album.....All that hoopla he created will be a part of its legacy as the countdown winds down. We dont know how many hands it will pass between within the next 84 years and that too might add to the hype and legacy.

Them nikkas are flabby and sick now. There is no hype. Music has no worth in this streaming/ consumption era

Isn't that just an over hyped Wu affiliate album ? :patrice:

I seriously dont think the people in the future 84 years from now will see it the way this generation sees it.

Its going to be a hyped up time capsule in 2103 AD.

I grew up in Cali , I thought Wu Tang was dusty as shyt

I fukked with ODB though as well as a lot of people I knew !!!! I’m still mindblown he was a member of Wu , I never knew that

If anything I still believe he’s the popularist member , or at least at that time
