The 1 copy Wu Tang LP surpassed Detox as most anticipated of all time but who will care in 88 years?

I did the math. If u subtract 88 from 2015 it equals 1927.

In 1927 Jelly Roll Morton was a popular jazz musician and bandleader who's career started in the early 1900's. If I were to compare Jelly Roll and his band to Rza and The Wu Tang and Jelly Roll and his band made a record in 1927 and said it cant be heard till 2015, 88 years later, by the time we all get to hear it, it would sound like some 1920's shyt. But would the generation of 2015 give a fukk? It might be a big deal for jazz buffs but what about the generation of the current dominant Black genre in America which is hip hop/R&B and not Jazz? Thats pretty much going to be the situation in 88 years from 2015 which will be 2103 A.D. Black Folks might have a whole new genre by this time.

This is a popular Jelly Roll song that he did with his band in 1926. Lets say this song was the song he didnt want people to hear till 2015. Would you really care? Would it be a big deal? Listen to it right now and get a feel of how the people in the future will re act to that Wu Tang "Once Upon A Time In Shaolin" album when it finally drops in 2103 A.D.because this is what it will sound like to them.

People in Star Trek still bump Wyclef hundreds of years in the future

Wu Tang is safe

That sounds nice but lets be realistic...... how come you aren't bumping Jelly Roll Martin who was the Rza of his era? How come you're not bumping Billy Eckstein who was the R Kelly of his era? How come you not bumping Lous Jordon who was the Drake of his era?

Because you're ears aren't really into that era. Your ears are used to the era you are in now. You'll defend Wu Tang and 2Pac and Outkast and swear that in the next 88 years people will feel for their music like you do. But you dont do that for the era of yesteryear unless you personally make it your duty to get into that specific music which most people dont. Thats the point I'm trying to make.

I think most people outside of NY view them the same

They were regional af

And ODB is the only one that transcended.

But you never heard the album. How do u know its even good? What if its weaker then Tical 0. We dont know. What if its an 88 year wait for a flop?

Thats not the point I'm trying to make. I'm talking about the countdown to that specific album. Like in the year 2100...there will be a 3 year countdown before the album is finally released. That might be a big deal for us...But will it be a big deal for the people alive in 2103 A.D.? Thats the question I'm asking. Will there be hype around it or will it be small news. We dont really know but I dont think it will be as big to them as it would be to us.

In that Jelly Roll Morton video I posted......Whoever made the video whitewashed it. That is supposed to be Black music but the video is all white folks and doesnt have 1 Black face in it. Thats a sign. Who will properly present and preserve the integrity of that Wu Tang album? Will it be whitefolks who preserve Jazz as time capsules? Add the fact that hip hop is all talk when it comes to being a "Black dominated genre" yet is so quick to dispose of its rap veterans by the next generation as we currently see , I also wonder which race will actually be more interested in the presentation of that album when it finally drops in 2103 AD?

I thought the deal was that you couldn't SELL it for 88 years?

If that's the case then you'd be able to release it for free if you wanted. I think that the feds still have it though.
